Staff Referral Scheme

Current employees can earn a £500 reward for referring friends or contacts to our vacancies. Simply email Linda at linda@galttransport.co.uk with the name and contact details of your referral, along with a short note on how you know them. If your referral is hired, you’ll receive £250 when they start and another £250 after they complete 12 weeks of employment. This offer is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

T&Cs

  • All current employees (excluding those involved in recruitment) are eligible to refer.

  • The referred candidate must not already be in the recruitment pipeline (e.g. previously applied within 6 months).

  • Referrals must be submitted via email before the candidate interviews.

  • The referred candidate must be hired and remain employed for at least 12 weeks.

  • The referrer must still be employed by the company at the time the payment is due.

  • Referrals should be submitted to linda@galttransport.co.uk

  • Include candidate’s full name, contact details, and job role referred for.

  • Not all referrals will be guaranteed an interview or subsequent appointment.

  • Payments will be processed through payroll with the appropriate deductions.

  • Payments will be made in two parts: 50% after the referred employee starts, and 50% after 12 weeks of continuous service.

  • No reward will be paid if a candidate is referred after already applying.

  • Managers or staff involved in hiring decisions for the specific role are not eligible for rewards.
