Using the latest container handling equipment, Galt Transport can provide efficient and cost-effective container transport solutions for customers of all sizes. Our fleet and specialist container lifts help to reduce the need for expensive crane hire while ensuring containers are moved safely and efficiently.

Our fleet includes three Hammar container lifts, allowing us to load, transport, and off-load containers weighing up to 45 tonnes without the need for additional lifting equipment. This also includes the ability to double stack and lift over existing containers.

We also operate a wide range of lorry-mounted cranes, giving us the flexibility to handle containers of different sizes and weights, even in tight or difficult spaces.

Container stuffing and de-stuffing services are also available either at our depot or on-site.

Our container handling capabilities include:

• 'Hammar' container handler will lift 20', 30' & 40' boxes up to 45 tons
• Artic lorry mounted cranes will lift 20', 30' & 40' boxes up to 12 tons
• Rigid lorry mounted cranes lift 20' - 32' containers/cabins up to 10 tons
