Course Outline

The ALLMI Slinger / Signaller course is very comprehensive and cardholders are able to use their skills when performing Slinger / Signaller duties with any type of lifting equipment, not just lorry loaders.   The course culminates in a written and practical examination.  

Course Content:

• Legislation
• Introduction to the Equipment
• Pre & Post Operational Checks
• Planning the Lift
• Use of Lifting Accessories
• Storage and Maintenance
• Signaller Duties and Signals
• Practical Application of Slinging
• Practical Application of Signalling

Duration

The course duration is one day for experienced candidates and a minimum of two days for novice candidates.
